Highest Worship

High on a stone shelf in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, a lone Native American kneels on one knee with his arms raised in praise. In his hands is the skull of a once mighty buffalo. What first appears to be a ceremonial act becomes the highest worship of God as the beadwork on the skull reveals three crosses signifying the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, for each of us. Floating above the trees in a soft mist is the form of a dove representing the Holy Spirit of God, given freely to dwell in every believer. The cross signifying Jesus Christ as the only way to Heaven also appears in the mist. The weapon resting on his knee warns us to be prepared with the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Finally, the drum symbolizes the expression of our worship to the One True God.
