Freedom Walk

Flags of the nations are supernaturally drawn to the Freedom Walk that leads to the foundation of all law; the Ten Commandments.  All nations need the perfect moral law of God.  But more important, the law is a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ (Galatians 3:24) as symbolized by the reflection of Christ within the monument.  Man’s acceptance of God’s way of salvation affects governments, homes and churches of all nations.  The sky represents a scene the artist actually saw: a thunderstorm inside a rainbow, symbolizing the judgment of God surrounded by His grace.  The holiness of God compels Him to judge unrighteousness, but the love of God offers the gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ.  Notice the two flags by the monument.  The black flag represents those without Christ who remain as prisoners to their own sinful nature.  The white flag represents those who surrender their will to God and gain the freedom we all seek.  Finally, the way we all must come is through the cross of Christ, which overshadows the monument and stands at the very beginning of freedom’s walk.
