The story behind the painting

As you view this painting and study the faces, you will notice that there are all sorts of people, from all different backgrounds and time periods.  There are all different ages and nationalities represented. At Whom are they all looking? Do you see the shadow over the crowd? Someone is speaking to each one of them. The reflection in the astronaut’s helmet is what they are seeing: Jesus Christ, with heaven above and the gates of hell below. He is leading us to the decision that we all must make. Will we believe that Jesus is who He said He is…the ONLY way to God and to Heaven? The space at the middle of the front row is for you. Take your place there and hear Him speak.
