Two Fisherman by Jack E. Dawson

Two Fishermen

by Jack E. Dawson

Cast all your anxiety on him, for He cares for you.

1 Peter 5:7

The quiet time spent by this lone fisherman provides a much-needed refuge from the pressures of his world. The backpack he carries represents the concerns and cares that are weighing on his mind. One by one he examines them. Then, just as he casts his lure into the water, he casts each care away from himself and gives it to the Lord. Behind the sun’s rays we find another fisherman, the Lord himself, patiently waiting to take his burden and lead him to a place of peace.
