Jordan Creek Mill by Jack E. Dawson

Jordan Creek Mill

by Jack E. Dawson

Having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof.
2 Timothy 3:5

This lovely setting causes us to admire its beauty, but when we look closely we notice a problem.  The flume that carries the water to the wheel is broken and the mill is unable to do what it was designed to do.  We are much like the mill.  We need the Spirit of God and the Word of God empowering us to live effective and productive lives.  The heart on the tree with the Good News of John 3:16 reminds us that God loves us and desires to repair our broken lives.
